USC-Upstate, a member of the Big South Conference, comes in with a 15-16 record. The Spartans knocked off Appalachian State 80-74 in the tournament’s first round. Should South Alabama win on Monday, it would likely host a tournament semifinal against the winner of Monday’s Florida Gulf Coast-Coastal Carolina game. Date and tip-off time for the semifinal game remains to-be-announced.
