THE Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas announced on Wednesday a 21-man national pool for the International Basketball Federation 2023 World Cup that the country is primarily hosting from August 25 to September 10.Naturalized players Jordan Clarkson, Justin Brownlee and Ange Kouame lead the pool that also includes Dwight Ramos, Chris Newsome, Kiefer Ravena, CJ Perez, Jordan Heading, Roger Pogoy, Scottie Thompson, Jamie Malonzo, Thirdy Ravena, Japeth Aguilar and Carl Tamayo.
June Mar Fajardo, JP Erram, Rhenz Abando, Calvin Oftana and 6-foot-10 Filipino-Nigerian AJ Edu are also on the list. Head coach Chot Reyes opened training camp on Wednesday at the Meralco Gym and will transfer to the Inspire Sports Academy in Calamba later this week.
