House Republicans are poised to target Democratic candidates running in competitive districts who have accepted money from members of the powerfulJonathan Soros; Jonathan’s wife, Jennifer; or George’s daughter, Andrea, during the second quarter of 2024, according to campaign finance data filed with the Federal Election Commission.
Each of the candidates received the maximum amount one can donate to a campaign during the second quarter in separate payments from both Jonathan Soros and Jennifer Soros, according to the FEC. The NRCC is also targeting House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries , the top Democrat in the House, who accepted two payments of $3,300 from Andrea Soros,.
