Song Joong Ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders are now parents to a baby boy!
The actor shared the news on his official fan café. The news was also confirmed by his agency High Zium Studio.
In his letter to fans, Song Joong Ki said he and Katy welcomed their baby in Italy — specifically in Katy's hometown Rome., "and both the baby and his mother are in very good health. As we welcomed [our child] in good health and joy, I am taking care of my family very happily, with a grateful heart."
“I think [our son] is the most precious gift to have found its way to us, a married couple whose biggest dream all our lives was to start a happy family," he added. “And I think it’s thanks to the many people who gave us their support that such a happy day has found us. Thank you." Song Joong Ki also thanked his fans, Ki Aile, for “who give their sincere, unchanging love.” He added, “and I, Joong Ki, will also sincerely wish for there to be great joy in all of your lives as well.”
The “Descendants of the Sun” actor also said that he had wrapped filming the movie “My Name Is Loh Kiwan” in Hungary. He recently attended the Cannes Film Festival for the movie “Hopeless.”—Nika Roque/JCB, GMA Integrated News
