The five-star hotel overlooking Manila Bay, located across the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City, announced that it ceased operations Monday.
“Where moments were made magnifique. Where memories last. Your smiles and stories have left an indelible mark on our hearts. We hope these memories stay with you as fondly as they will with us. Sofitel Manila bids you adieu. Merci beaucoup, and à bientôt in new adventures,” the hotel said. The hotel’s closure came just a year after GSIS and Philippine Plaza Holdings Inc. , which operates Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila, signed a lease contract.
