Goalkeeper Boris Pardo made 10 saves, Kraig Chiles had three goals and two assists and the San Diego Sockers advanced in the MASL’s Ron Newman Cup playoffs with an 8-0 victory over the Mesquite Outlaws at Pechanga Arena.They will take on the winner of Monday night’s playoff game between Chihuahua and Monterrey in the MASL semifinals. San Diego will travel to Mexico for the first game of the series regardless of who wins, with a Game 2/Knockout Game scheduled for April 21 at Pechanga Arena.
Pardo told SDSockers.com that his place in club history is “so nice to hear, especially with the group of guys we have here.” Backup Xavier Snaer-Williams added one save.
