Soccer Mommy has released a new single, 'Bones,' ahead of its upcoming Loma Vista album 'Sometimes, Forever' next month.
, Soccer Mommy has dropped a new single, “Bones.” The song was originally written for an unnamed romantic comedy but frontwoman Sophie Allison decided to hold it back for“‘Bones’ is a song about struggling with the parts of yourself that you don’t like in a relationship,” she says. “It’s about wanting to become better for someone and feeling like you’re standing in your own way.
” For the song’s accompanying video, Allison teamed with previous collaborator Alex Ross Perry for a performance-centric clip that also finds her strolling through a cemetery.Adding to previously announced summer dates in the U.K. and Europe, Soccer Mommy will begin a North American tour on Oct. 28 in Indianapolis.
