The latest cold open delivered a satirical take on the sensational trial, focusing on the allegation that Heard defecated on the ex-couple’s shared bed.
“Mr. Depp, earlier in this trial, you mentioned that Ms. Heard left fecal matter in your bed,” Aidy Bryant, playing a lawyer, said to Kyle Mooney as Depp. “That is correct,” he replied.
“Saturday Night Live” poked fun at the ongoing Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial, with Kenan Thompson posing as the actor’s property manager and discovering a “boo-boo” in the bed.The sketch then cut to fictionalized security footage of Kenan Thompson posing as property manager Leonard Green and discovering the large pile of feces in the bed.
“That’s a boo-boo!” Thompson exclaimed in character, seconds after lifting up a blanket to uncover the cause of the raunchy scent he smelled. He then summoned in additional employees, played by Ego Nwodim, Chris Redd and Melissa Villaseñor, to join him in gaping at the “mess.”
