Showers and thunderstorms are possible this afternoon and highs will only be in the low to mid 70s. Normal highs for this time of year are in the low 80s. Overnight lows will be in the 50s.
A further reduction in smoke and haze is expected Saturday with warmer temps. Highs will be around 80 under sunny skies. Forecasters caution that there’s about a 30% to 50% chance of showers and thunderstorms, most likely after 2 p.m. Sunday should be hot and sunny with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s. Showers are possible on a cloudy Monday with afternoon temps topping out in the low 80s.
