Authorities nabbed a Sangguniang Kabataan kagawad for allegedly mauling a minor to death in Manila , Jhomer Apresto reported Monday on 24 Oras.In CCTV footage, the victim, 15-year-old Lei, and his friend were seen reporting an incident to barangay personnel.They reported an earlier incident where an SK kagawad allegedly beat up their friend, who is also a minor, and was left in a park.CCTV later showed the two suspects, one of them an SK kagawad, approach the victim and punched him.
The suspects later returned to check on the victim before walking away as if nothing happened.The victim was brought to the hospital but eventually died. Based on the autopsy report, the victim died due to a traumatic head injury.The mother’s victim said she does not believe that her son’s group harassed the girlfriend of the suspect.“May nagsabi po sa side nila na naka pula daw po yung nambastos pero yung anak ko saka mga kaibigan is mga naka-white.
