The Toyota GR86 will cost £29,990 in its sole, high-spec trim with the six-speed manual. First cars arrive in July.
UK has confirmed pricing of its GR86 coupe ahead of the first units arriving to customers in July this year. Available in just one high specification, the GR86 will cost £29,990 for the six-speed manual and £32,085 for the automatic, making it £1180 less than the basic GR Yaris and a new entry-level point to Toyota's GR range.
Highlighted standard equipment on UK examples include an 18-inch wheel design wrapped in Michelin PS4 rubber, as well as half-leather interior trim, an 8-inch infotainment system including smartphone mirroring, a reverse camera, climate control and adaptive LED headlights. This aggressive pricing structure does come with a bitter side note in that it will only be available in Europe for two model years after its launch in 2022. The short life-span is, in large part, due to tighter safety regulations coming into force that would have forced the GR86's roof design to be totally re-engineered.
