On Saturday, 27-year-old Biles competed in the 2024 Core Hydration Gymnastics Classic in Hartford, Connecticut, placing first at the meet and besting fellow Olympians Suni Lee and Gabby Douglas. It is the first time all three of the elite gymnasts have competed at the same meet. In an Instagram post, Biles gave a sweet shout-out to her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens. “my whole heart,” she captioned the photo of him leaning out of the stands to give her a kiss Saturday.
“And no I don’t need to touch grass or whatever tf y’all suggest....@ everyone else that supports us, we love y’all so much.” In his own Stories, Owens screengrabbed Biles’ screed and added his own commentary. “If y’all gone support, support!!! If not respectfully keep scrolling,” he wrote. “Cause being fake mad about people y’all don’t know from a can of paint is weirdo behavior.” He shared the same photo of the two kissing as Biles on his grid, adding on more photos of his wife competing.
