Daily News | Shooting outside Willard Elementary in Kensington leaves three injured
Philadelphia police as a parent and student cross Jasper Street at E. Clearfield after an overnight shooting at Frances E. Willard Elementary School that left three injured.At around 12:46 a.m., police responded to a report of a shooting on the 3000 block of Jasper Street, near a playground outside Frances E. Willard Elementary School. When police arrived, they found 30 spent shell casings from a semiautomatic rifle and a semiautomatic handgun, said Chief Inspector Scott Small.
The 17-year-old boy was shot in the thigh and the 20-year-old woman was shot in the buttocks, police said. Those two victims arrived at the hospital in a private car.
