Crews were investigating two scenes. One at West Alameda Avenue and South Sheridan Boulevard and a second scene near West 2nd Avenue and Garrison Street in Lakewood. Thornton Police officers were involved in a pursuit that resulted in the shooting, the agency posted on the social platform X at about 6:50 a.m. Police did not initially provide information about injuries from the shooting.
