Shipt extends its reach through Walgreens and 7-Eleven
Birmingham’s Shipt is launching with two new retailers that the company says boost its number of available store locations by more than 40 percent.
Customers can now order products from Walgreens and 7-Eleven, meaning everything from over-the-counter medications to snacks. Today marks the most stores ever added to Shipt’s marketplace at one time, according to the company. Walgreens will be launching nationwide with over 25,000 items available from more than 6,303 locations, while 7-Eleven has nearly 6,450 locations. Shipt is also working with both Walgreens and 7-Eleven on several customer promotions.
Since 2020, Shipt has tripled its network of shoppers and doubled its retail partners to offer same-day delivery that’s differentiated by customer service. Last year, Shipt experienced its largest service area expansion in three years, adding nearly 1,000 more store locations and more than two million households to its coverage area.
