Is Shin Hati a reverse Kylo Ren?
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Shin Hati's character arc in Ahsoka is setting up a better ending to her story than Kylo Ren's story in the Star Wars sequel trilogy. Despite being a secondary with very little screen time or dialogue, her story is shaping up to be one of the most interesting aspects of Ahsoka, particularly in the season finale.
The second time Shin mirrors a major Kylo Ren moment comes when Ahsoka holds out her hand and tells Shin to come with her. In Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Kylo Ren similarly holds out his hand to Rey and tells her to join him. While Ben makes the offer to Rey in The Last Jedi, Shin finds herself on the receiving end of the gesture in Ahsoka episode 7.
Under the guidance of Baylan, Shin was obviously guided away from the light side of the Force, and if she returns to Thrawn and the Nightsisters, she's only going to receive more of a bush to the dark side.
