There are lots of changes coming to the home of the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash.

The city's soccer-specific stadium has gone through so many iterations because of the changes with BBVA Compass, the bank that signed a 10-year, $20 million naming rights deal with the club when the stadium opened as BBVA Compass Stadium in 2012. It was switched to BBVA Stadium in 2019 as part of the bank's rebranding. It became PNC Stadium in 2021 when PNC Financial Services bought BBVA USA.
The naming rights agreement with Shell Energy means the stadium will get new marquee signage at the north end, as well as Shell Energy signs and branding featured prominently throughout the venue. The club and company also announced their pursuit of integrated energy and decarbonization solutions at the stadium, including reducing greenhouse gas emissions at the venue.
