The northeast monsoon, locally called “amihan,” and the shear line will continue to bring cloudy skies and scattered rains in most parts of the country in the next 24-hour period, the state weather bureau said on Saturday, Dec. 24.
Residents of the previously mentioned places may expect cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms. PAGASA strongly advised individuals residing in these areas to be vigilant against possible hazards such as flooding and rain-induced landslides.
