SheHulk star Tatiana Maslany breaks down Jen Walters' arc in the Marvel series, and considers where she might go next in the MCU during our recent post-finale interview:
With the latest Marvel Studios series, She-Hulk, dropping its finale on Disney+ last week, Tatiana Maslany spoke to Screen Rant about the conclusion of the MCU’s latest series.
What was it like having such a meta self-aware conversation with Kevin? And shout out about asking about the X-Men, by the way, Can you talk to me about the sexism She-Hulk faces throughout the series, from winning the Female Lawyer of the Year Award and the quick public opinion changing after episode eight and then, of course, Intelligencia?
Tatiana Maslany: When you said street level, I was thinking of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. It's like the sub-street level. I think she had a good time with Matt Murdock in more ways than one, but I think she definitely, there was something about that caring that felt like it lit up in her, like, "Yeah, I can be a superhero. I'm pretty good at this." And that was the first time she's kind of owned that.
Jen has finally accepted both parts of herself in the finale. Where do you think she's going to go next?
