The size estimate is"within the normal range for sharks found in the area" and"dispels speculative media reports that alleged that the shark was 20 feet long," the department said.Dr. Brita Bruemmer and physical therapist Eric Walberg assist Steve Bruemmer who was bitten by a shark of Lovers Point in Pacific Grove, Calif.The incident occurred in the late morning about 150 yards from the beach at Lovers Point in Pacific Grove.
"Those three got me onto the extra board, and they had me hold the surfer's ankle while he paddled like crazy to get me to the beach," Bruemmer said."They, along with several bystanders, including a doctor and a nurse who were on the beach for the day, helped put tourniquets on me and get me to the ambulance."Top Picks In Shopping
