A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has been issued for parts of North Texas until 10 p.m. tonight.
– There is still a strong CAP over a lot of North Texas and the metroplex. As the dryline moves east, there is the potential of strong to severe storms to develop.
As of 4 p.m. there are storms that have developed NE of Graham which are moving NE. The CAP out WNW is weaker allowing these storm to develop right now. The individual storm will move NE but the line will move east as the evening progresses. There is a better chance of strong to severe storms across the watch area as the front approaches later this evening.
