Seton Hall announced a loaded non-conference schedule on Thursday.
’s former team Saint Peter’s at Prudential Center. On Saturday, Nov. 11, the Pirates will host Fairleigh Dickinson inside Walsh Gymnasium where they last faced each other on November 11, 2017. Seton Hall is a combined 85-28 all-time against the two schools and is 14-2 against fellow Garden State programs since 2015-16.
After hosting Albany and Wagner at Prudential Center, the Pirates will head West to play in the inaugural Rady Children’s Invitational. The Hall will open the tournament with USC, which could feature Bronny James if he returns after suffering cardiac arrest during a practice last month, on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23, at 5:30 p.m. EST on FS1. The Hall will face either Oklahoma or Iowa on Friday, Nov. 24. All games will played at LionTree Arena on the campus of UC San Diego.
Seton Hall returns to New Jersey to face Rutgers in the Garden State Hardwood Classic later that week on Saturday, Dec. 9 at Prudential Center. Seton Hall, which leads the all-time series 42-31, has won its last two meetings against the Scarlet Knights including their last pairing in Newark on Dec. 12, 2021 when the Pirates reclaimed the Garden State Hardwood Classic trophy following a 77-63 victory.
The Pirates conclude the home portion of the non-conference schedule against in-state foe Monmouth on Tuesday, Dec. 12 before traveling to the Midwest for a neutral site contest in Kansas City, Mo. against Missouri on Sunday, Dec. 17. The Tigers went 25-10 last season and went 1-1 in the NCAA Tournament.
