Serbia's Bogdan Bogdanovic delivered another solid performance in the FIBA Basketball World Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena on Friday, September 8.
Against Canada in the semifinals, Bogdanivic logged 23 points behind an 8-of-11 shooting from the field, including 5-of-3 from the three point area.The Atlanta Hawks guard also tallied four rebounds, three assists, and three steals and one block as Serbia made a return trip to the FIBA World Cup finals with a 95-86 triumph on Friday.In the process, Bogdanovic established new records and reached milestones in the World Cup starting with his 11th game with 20+ points.
With 70 triples now, Bogdanivic also made World Cup history as the player with the most three-point baskets made over the last 30 years.Bogdanivic also holds the longest streak of games of making at least one three-point shot at 24 games.On top of that, Bogdanovic now has a total of 427 points to rank fifth overall in the FIBA World Cup competition in the 21st century, overtaking Dirk Nowitzki . Bogdanivic is also ranked 16th on the all-time list.
