regarding investing in public education. The article mentions a lot of statistics and general comments about how the current system isn’t fair and doesn’t work. I agree that it is not fair and doesn’t work. However, as one of our senior state legislators, I was hoping that Sen. 7Rothman would have presented a specific idea or two as to how to properly address and resolve the public education issue within Pennsylvania.
Our children deserve a structure for education that works. Throwing money at the problem isn’t the answer and never will be the answer. Until someone produces an actual solution, I ask that our legislators cease the rhetoric and work together to find a solution. This is not a Republican or Democrat issue. It’s an issue of great importance to our youth and our country. Take a look around the world and see what’s happening.
