'I really noticed when people started attacking me,' SelenaGomez says about dealing with body shaming
Not only has she been dealing with an ongoing Lupus battle, the songstress had to endure hate online for weight fluctuations due to the illness.hosted by her friend Raquell Stevens, she discussed how the nasty comments affected her mental health. "It depends on even the month, to be honest, so for me I really noticed when people started attacking me for that," she said. "That got to me big time. That really messed me up for a bit.
The songstress, no matter what the scenario, has her faith and some amazing friends in her life, who help her get through hard times. "My faith for sure [helps me when I'm feeling depressed or anxious]. It’s probably your fault that I’m crying," she tells her pal. "Yes, I think once I started to really understand my spirituality, and believing in something much bigger than myself was very important for me. Because I don’t believe that I can do this life alone.
