On Instagram Stories, Selena said that Hailey Bieber, wife of her ex boyfriend Justin Bieber, reached out to her because people have been sending her threats.

“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” she said. “This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying.”This isn’t the first time Selena commented about her rumored feud with Hailey. In March, she sent out a message to her fans on TikTok saying she is “deeply grateful” for them. “You make me unbelievably happy.”

Without naming anyone, she also reminded them to be “kinder” and to “consider other’s mental health.”But Hailey previously denied their feud during an interview in September 2022. "A lot of the hate and the perpetuation comes from like, 'Oh, you stole [Justin],'" she said."And I guess maybe that just comes from the fact that they wished he had ended up with somebody else. And that's fine. You can wish that all you want but that's just not the case."'
