The tests come as Beryl prepares to hit Texas on Monday morning.
SAN ANTONIO — Those living in the Seguin area northeast of San Antonio might hear an alarm sometime Saturday. If you do, don't panic: It's just a test ahead of potential severe weather next week in the region.
The Seguin Police Department posted about the planned tests on Facebook, saying the test will involve sirens located near Starcke Park and along Walnut near San Geronimo Cemetery. Authorities weren't able to say, however, when exactly the tests will happen Saturday. "Please note, THIS IS ONLY A TEXT, and does not indicate flooding or any other weather emergency," the agency posted on its Facebook page Friday.
