The Browns will debut them in Week 2 against the Steelers on the road for Monday Night Football. They will then make their home debut at Cleveland Browns Stadium in Week 6 against the 49ers. They’ll close out their home slate in them as well in Week 17 against the Jets on Thursday Night Football.The Browns wore a white helmet for the first six years of franchise history, but shifted to the orange shell in 1951.
They had a lot of success in those white helmets, winning four All-American Football Conference championships in their first four years, as well as winning the championship in the franchise’s first year in the NFL in 1950.
