A 39-year-old Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) was stabbed to death by her husband inside a hotel in Barangay Bantayan here on Sunday, Jan. 8.
MANGALDAN, Pangasinan — A 41-year-old security guard allegedly stabbed his 39-year-old Overseas Filipino Worker wife to death inside a hotel in Barangay Bantayan here on Sunday, Jan. 8.The victim and the suspect, Richard Acosta, a security guard at the Sual Power Plant, checked in at the Golden Success Hotel at around 7:45 a.m.
A roomboy named ”Richmond” saw the suspect coming out of the couple’s room with blood on his body three hours later. Responding policemen found the victim under the bed with blood on the floor and stab wounds in the body.“Maliit na tools, na may kutsilyo ang ginamit ng suspek ,” police said.The victim had just arrived from abroad and police said the motive of the crime could be jealousy.“Pinagsuspetsahan ng suspek na ang kaniyang misis ay may ibang lover ,” police said.
