Second alleged drunken driving incident on SH 242 injures 1

An allegedly drunken driver hit another vehicle on State Highway 242 Sunday afternoon after driving into a ditch and then re-entering the road sideways, according to authorities. The Caney Creek Fire Department responded to the crash on Sun View and SH 242 between FM 1314 and Old Houston Road at 4:30 p.m., Sunday. The car that had been hit was heavily damage and the driver was trapped inside with a severe arm injury. He was taken to the hospital in stable condition. The other driver was not injured.
