The diverse talents of an artist collective from SEAMEO INNOTECH extend far beyond the local art scene by showcasing their artworks in Europe.
Consul General Elmer Cato, SMEG SpA Director Emer Zavaroni and SMEG Philippines President Ton Concepcion graced the opening of the exhibition, along with members of the Filipino and art community in Milan. One of the artworks featured in the exhibition is “Impending Vision” of the famous Banaue Rice Terraces by Jefferson Villacruz. The installation, with screen mesh as the ground, depicts the immersive environment of virtual reality, highlighting the harmony between humanity and nature, as he emphasized that, “without intervention, such natural wonders might only be accessible virtually in the future.
