The Seattle Seahawks are coming off an upset loss to the New York Giants, 29-20. However, to those watching the game, the score looked a lot closer than the game appeared. If not for a franchise record 102-yard fumble return touchdown by Rayshawn Jenkins, the Giants could have easily blown the Seahawks away.
A large factor that can be considered in this is DK Metcalf’s back-breaking lost fumble . Another factor could be the stubbornness to only pass the ball. In the loss, Kenneth Walker only had five carries for the entire game, with the entire team carrying the ball only 11 times . This lack of run game negatively impacted Seattle’s ability to utilize play action and stunted the offense to be very one sided.
