SC denies Roque’s petition vs House panel arrest order

THE Supreme Court has denied the petition filed by former Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, which seeks to prevent the House of Representatives’ quad-committee from imposing its arrest order against him amid the investigation on Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators and extrajudicial killings during the administration of former president Rodrigo Duterte.

The court directed the panel to comment on the petition for prohibition within 10 days from receipt of the resolution.
