After back-to-back announcements of Korean acts who will participate in the upcoming 2023 Asia Artist Awards (AAA), organizers on Monday, September 18, confirmed the addition of the first two Filipino artists: boy groups SB19 and HORI7ON. The 2023 AAA will take place at the Philippine Arena on December 14.
Korean media outlet StarNews, which is also the main host of the event, described SB19 as 'a team with outstanding musical skills that ranks in the top 10 on the Billboard Social 50.'The Philippine pop band, with members Pablo, Stell, Ken, Justin, and Josh, debuted in 2016 and has since released top hits like 'Go Up,' 'Alab, 'Mapa,' and the currently trending, 'Gento,' among many others. SB19 is considered as the country's biggest act from the genre today.
Composed of Vinci, Kim, Kyler, Leister, Winston, Jerome and Marcus, HORI7ON was the first P-pop band to debut in South Korea with the release of its first full album 'Friend-SHIP,' and the single 'Six7een.'Besides SB19 and HORI7ON, AAA also announced the confirmed attendance ofSeventeen's Boo Seok-soon, Oneus, Kingdom, ATBO, and LUN8.
