Saturday Night Takeaway smashes all records as self-isolating viewers flock to ITV
An average of 9.5million tuned in to see Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly lift everyone’s spirits - 39 per cent up on the series average.It was the most watched programme of 2020 so far by young people with 1.6m 16-34 year-old watching, figures show. It was also ITV's biggest audience in the Saturday slot since April 2016.Takeaway's live broadcast has been cancelled next week amid coronavirus fears.
