Opposition leader Carla Beck spoke Thursday night to a packed ballroom, congratulating her candidates and now leading the largest NDP caucus since 2011.

After the first round of vote counting on Thursday night in Coronation Park Burki and the NDP won 56.6 per cent of the vote and Ahmad with the Sask Party 31.4 per cent. In Walsh Acres Clarke won with 54 per cent as Markwart took home 40.2 per cent. The Lumsden-Morse constituency will take longer for votes to be counted but by 10:00 p.m. with 21 of 23 ballot boxes reporting McLeod and the Sask Party took home 51.
