Vice President Sara Duterte on Saturday night joined the Filipino-Muslim community in celebrating Eid’l Adha or the Feast of the Holy Sacrifice as she acknowledged its important contribution to the nation-building.
In her message, Duterte wished that the sacred occasion would “continue to inspire us to move with kindness and compassion.”
“We join them in offering prayers for the whole nation so that we live in peace and further strengthen our unity and solidarity,” she said. “We also join them in praying for a strong government as we pursue meaningful and inclusive change and development. Insha’Allah,” she added.
