Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ Marcos has kept his huge lead in the congressional race, based on voter preference surveys conducted by RP-Mission and Development Foundation (RPMD) on April 28 to May 2.
LAOAG CITY, Ilocos Norte — Ferdinand Alexander ‘Sandro’ Marcos has kept his huge lead in the congressional race, based on voter preference surveys conducted by RP-Mission and Development Foundation on April 28 to May 2.
Based on that survey, Sandro Marcos, the son of former Senator Bongbong Marcos and candidate for the Ilocos Norte-1st district congressional seat, currently leads the race with a 65% voter preference. He is thirty-three points ahead of incumbent Congresswoman Ria Fariñas who received 32% voter preference.Sandro also came up on top of RPMD’s survey conducted last April 17-21, 2022, with 62% voter preference.
He is up against Congresswoman Ria Christina Fariñas, the current representative of the province’s first district, in his first foray in politics. The survey was conducted independently and without commission from April 28 to May 2, 2022 with 1,000 registered voters with a margin of error of 3% .
