PRESIDENT Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and reelectionists Gov. Matthew Joseph Marcos-Manotoc, Vice Gov. Cecilia Araneta-Marcos, and Ilocos Norte Rep. He was accompanied by parents President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, reelectionists Gov. Matthew Joseph Marcos Manotoc, Vice Gov. Cecilia Araneta-Marcos, and Ilocos Norte second district Rep. Angelo Marcos-Barba, and actor-host Paolo Bediones.The First Family endorsed the candidacy of Laoag City Councilors Bryan Alcid and Handy Lao for Laoag City mayor and vice mayor, respectively, in the 2025 mid-term elections.
Alcid is running against reelectionist Mayor Michael Marcos-Keon, the President’s cousin. Lao is up against Vice Mayor Rey Carlos Fariñas.
