Igor Sechin, CEO of Russian oil giant Rosneft, on June 6 accused the United States of using energy as a political weapon. Speaking at the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Sechin said that Washington was losing moral ground as a self-styled leader of open markets.
The annual event included a session with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping – part of the Chinese leader’s three-day state visit to Russia.
