Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) who are residents of San Mateo, Rizal are entitled to receive free anti-flu vaccine, the local government said.

The office of San Mateo Mayor Bartolome “Omie” Rivera announced on its social media pages that all PWDs residing in San Mateo are encouraged to get the vaccine against the flu virus. The free anti-flu vaccination will be conducted on Thursday, Jan. 12, at the AFP Covered Court in Barangay Silangan and at the JFD Stadium in Barangay Guitnang Bayan 1 on Friday, Jan. 13.

Those who want to avail should not have received any vaccine at least two weeks prior to the date of the anti-flu vaccination. The PWDs should also bring with them their PWD Card and their old flu vaccination card at the two vaccination sites which will open from 8 a.m. until 12 noon only.Those with symptoms of Covid-19 such as cough, colds, fever, diarrhea, and sore throat will not be allowed at the vaccination venues.
