San Mateo police have arrested a man suspected of shooting at and robbing a cannabis dispensary worker in October, authorities said.
On the afternoon Oct. 3, the worker, driving a minivan on the San Mateo Bridge after leaving a dispensary in Oakland, noticed a Volkswagen was following him. The worker pulled off the freeway into San Mateo and parked. Two men then got out of the Volkswagen and approached the minivan. As the worker started to drive away, one of the men broke the front passenger window of the minivan, grabbed a bag and fell onto the roadway. The other man fired two shots hitting the back of the minivan. No one was injured.
