San Diegans may smell non-toxic odor as SDG&E crews work in Mission Valley this week [Breaking]
San Diego residents may smell an odor as San Diego Gas & Electric crews do maintenance work in Mission Valley, but the company said the scent is not harmful.
Crews got started Saturday at 7 a.m. on gas pipeline near the intersection at Mission Valley and Mission Center roads, as well as the intersection at Friars and Fashion Valley roads, SDG&E said via email.Gas service will not be impacted, but the utility company warned there may be a harmless odor detectable up to a mile from the construction sites. There will also be traffic control measures and potential road closures in place while crews work, which could impact traffic.
