Visually, the space is overwhelming. Every corner is designed to offer a surprise detail, from a mirrored, fun house-style corridor to a larger-than-life Selena Quintanilla mural by local artist Colton Valentine.
The club also will offer eight free-play arcade games and two pinball machines, which can be viewed from behind the glass of a mega-sized claw machine game — one of multiple spots created for photo opps. Amaro, who spent years working with immersive-experience businesses such as escape rooms, used that understanding to build the concept.
The full bar will sling a menu of signature cocktails including a libation dubbed Weird Science, which uses dry ice for a theatrical flair.
