Given his familiarity with the defense and the open slot Rutgers has at safety with
college career ending, Dixon will be a strong candidate to start at the position alongside junior Desmond Igbinosun.Dixon played in each of the Golden Gophers’ 12 games this fall. He ended the season with 28 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, and three pass break-ups while covering holes in Minnesota’s defensive backfield.
