RuPaul's Drag Race On Monday , VH1 announced that both of the hit reality television programs had been greenlit for new seasons — has been given the go-ahead for a fifth. The company did not reveal when either season could be expected on cable.
But Ru herself offered fans with a small hint. In a video announcing the good news, Ru, seated at the judges table on the set of , said that fans should be excited to know that both of the new seasons will be "coming soon to VH1." and its various spinoff series earned a whopping 14 Emmy nominations this year, including for Outstanding Competition Program, which the show won for the first time last year.
