Once asylum-seeking migrants are released into the United States, fewer than 6% will ever be deported, says former USBP Chief Rodney Scott. More info:

SAN DIEGO – When asylum-seeking migrants get to the border, they are screened, their case is heard, and then they are released into the United States and given a court date, according to former U.S. Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott.

Although most of the migrants that are granted legal access into the United States will not qualify for asylum, fewer than 6% of those who enter will ever be deported. Scott joined KUSI’s Lauren Phinney to discuss this phenomena and it’s relation to the expiration of Title 42.
