Rock Church cuts ties with volunteer, mother accused of murder, child abuse in her daughter's death [Breaking]

Her ordination was suspended after Aarabella’s death and now is in the process of being revoked, according to the church. Aarabella was rushed to a hospital Aug. 30 after sheriff’s deputies responded to a call around 2 a.m. about a child in distress at a home on Lakeview Drive.On the same day, McCormack’s husband shot and killed himself after he drove up to the scene in a pickup. Why he — a 19-year veteran of the Border Patrol — killed himself and whether he was involved in the child abuse is unclear, Steffen said.
The biological family says the girl’s name was Aarabella. Her name appears as Arabella in court records.
