Robin Roberts shared a photo of the moment right before she saw her bride Amber Laign on their wedding day on Thursday. The couple announced they married last week.
According to Gregoli, she had to consult weatherman Champion, 62, when the couple’s outdoor ceremony was almost derailed by rain clouds.
“The radar was showing rain, and Robin and Amber really wanted it outside, in front of the [tribute bench to Roberts' mother],” she said. “Thankfully, we consulted with [weatherman] Sam Champion, who was a guest, who helped guide us in making the decision of what time to actually begin the ceremony. We literally had to adjust that timing a few times during the day to make sure the ceremony could be held outside.
She continued, “In the end, Sam was right and we had that window of time, timed perfectly as the sun shown upon them as they walked down the aisle. An hour after that, it was pouring.”her Instagram“An intimate, magical wedding ceremony in our backyard followed by a joyous reception…ohhhh the dancing!!” she wrote. “We are immensely grateful to all for making it a day and a night to remember.
