When the pass rush cratered after a robust start to the season, would a few more available dollars have enabled O’Day to make a trade or entice a difference-making NFL cut to venture northward?
As a Canadian draftee, Rourke was available for a pittance, taking the CFL’s economics into account. It is unrealistic to think that a serviceable five-figure option is available for the Roughriders.
